We are pleased to announce that this year we opened the application to incoming students of Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. We received applications and after reviewing them we selected our first recipient of the Charles Denk Scholarship.

The winner is Alex Hartman of Pleasant Hill, OH. He will be attending Hobart in February 2024 and received a $1,000 scholarship. Alex started welding in high school and attended Welding Technologies Program. This lead him to wanting to continue his career and attend Hobart. He would like to one day own his own mobile welding business and travel. We would like to wish Alex the best of luck in his future and keep moving forward. Welding is a great skill and career for you and your future.
